From writing three albums during university to teaching myself production in a DIY bedroom studio, my journey has been driven by creativity, determination, and an unshakable love for song writing.
While my path may have started in law, my true calling lies in crafting stories through music—helping artists bring their vision to life, one song at a time.
I started piano lessons in primary school during lunch hours, then attending every Wednesday afternoon through secondary school. I often sang covers while playing the piano, but it wasn’t until I received my first guitar at age 12 that my love for song writing truly began.
Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with multiple producers, one of whom even offered to bring me on board their team and complete my album as part of an upcoming label release. However, I soon realised that my true passion doesn’t lie in performance or the centre stage, but in the craft of writing itself.
Creating music, shaping melodies, and telling stories through lyrics is where my heart truly lies.
Now, a decade later, I am fully immersed in music—producing, recording, and song writing—turning my lifelong passion into a career.
I studied for 4 years, took 39 exams, read endless amounts of case law, research papers, completed a dissertation, copious amounts of coursework, riddled myself with student debt, worked 24-hour shifts, applied for & completed work experience, found firms, and attended interviews. Found my way through the bottomless chasm that is a law degree, emerged as a fully employed trainee solicitor, a point most would call “making it.” Yet, despite reaching this so-called destination, my heart lay elsewhere. I took the leap and left it all behind to pursue my true passion: song writing.
I have written countless songs across various genres, constantly refining my craft. While I chose the practical path of university, I never lost sight of my passion for music.
Throughout my studies, I taught myself to record and produce music— ended up with 3 albums worth of songs from my bedroom alone.
I am relentless in my work ethic, and if there’s one thing my law degree taught me (aside from an impressive caffeine tolerance), it’s how to get things done. Unlike many aspiring artists, I am not looking to step into the overcrowded spotlight. My passion lies in working behind the scenes—collaborating with artists, helping shape their sound, and creating songs that connect deeply with audiences. I believe that my song writing, combined with my relentless work ethic and drive, makes me a valuable asset to any artist or music production team.
If you’re ready to create your next hit song, I’d love to connect and see how we can work together!
